I am looking to buy a good 10-12 cup coffee maker. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thank you.
Braun makes a good one and so does Melita as far as the quality of the brew goes but the longevity stunk. I have a Bunn and will never own anything else. It takes about 3 minutes to brew a full pot and lasts like a champ.
Get a bunn, they are awesome. 12 cups under 3 minutes.

Thank you homebrewmaster.
20 years with Bunn. Wouldn't have any other.
My thanks to all of you.
Bunn is a really good coffee maker.

Rural King had them for $79.99
You can get a free and very nice coffeemaker from Gevalia at http://www.gevalia.com if you try their coffee for just $14.95.

I did once and even bought more of their coffees afterwards. Nowadays, I just by my own local coffee at the store. The coffeemaker has been working great now for over three years!07-coffee3:coffee2:07-coffee3:coffee2:07-coffee303-2thumbsup
I've used a Hamilton Beach BrewStation® Plus for over a year now.

Very happy with the product.

# One-hand dispensing – no carafe, no pouring, no spills
# Programmable clock with 2 hour auto shutoff
# No hot plate to scorch coffee flavor
# Insulated tank helps prevent heat and flavor from escaping
# Never break another glass carafe

Brews coffee- real damn fast, for when you need coffee- real damn fast.
I've used a Krups for at least 20 years, with espresso maker and the one feature that is a must, a timer. Makes great coffee and seems to enjoy abuse.
Buy a Mr. Coffee and run vinegar thru it every 2-3 months when it starts to slow down. Mines still going strong after over 3 years, and under $25.

At home I use a Mr. Coffee too and love it. I like the cheap models because they don't have the safety shut-off of the heating plate. We have a commercial Bunn here at work and it's real nice.

Capresso, but get the Stainless Steel Thermal Carafe. No heater on bottom, keeps the coffee hot for hours and doesn't get all that burn taste. Little Pricey, but has worked great for years.

I've been through 2 of them in 6 years. I love mine. I could probably have not replaced the first one had I known then how to properly clean it.
Along with a Cuisinart Brew Central we have one of these. YUM!

Bravo!
Not worth it for a good cup of coffee. Almost, but not quite.

I have used the cheapest 2-cup Mr. Coffee's for several years, but was pretty horrified to read all the internet reports of them bursting into flames. Plus I found out that the black liquid that is constantly leaking out the back and the carafe which you cannot pour out of without it leaking seem to happen to many users of these cheapos.

I have the 12 cup plain jane model (no timer or auto cut-off) but it makes good coffee. Black liquid leaking out the back ? ok...that sounds nasty 03-puke
