For those of us who have dogs and cats, PLEASE don't forget and leave them out in this weather. My neighbors left their two dogs out last night by accident when they departed to a NC game watch party. Luckily I heard them barking and had a key to put them back inside the house.
Somebody get this crap off the main board.

This is getting ridiculous.

Yes, because everyone knows the lives of innocent pets are insignificant compared to the cleanliness of a message board.

Thank you for posting this. It is very important to all us animal lovers. My dogs stay in all the time, so it's not an issue. I am so glad that you heard those poor dogs and let them inside. How do you leave dogs out by accident?

Exactly, how do you leave your companion animals out by accident? I hope those folks don't have any children. Geesh.

TG4, bless you!

Phillip, you are losing your mind, my man.

Also, the birds need food right now to keep their energy level up, and as importantly, water.

i would guess that you let them out back to 'do their business' and then forget to let them in before you leave for the party.

seems pretty innocent to me.
Good post. Animals do not have the ability to open doors and walk into a heated building whenever they please. They need the help of their owners. Forcing an animal to stay outside for a night like tonight or last night can be extremely harmful or fatal.

A quick reminder on this will do much more good than harm.

It was a trap and you fell for it. Harsh, but we all missed you. Welcome back. Obviously nobody could object to possibly saving our little friends from a horrible fate. I just lost my 12 year old shepherd and if I thought it was serious I'd be all over the unfeeling lout. But I feel certain he was cleverly trying to draw you out and it worked.

Doesn't to me...sorry. You would not forget your kids outsode, would you? And don't bother coming back with dogs are not kids. My dogs are my kids...

The question is...if one is an animal lover, how would one manage to be dumb enough to leave their pet outside? The one's who care don't need the heads up, so this post is pretty useless.

Thank you, you've been a great audience. I'll be here all weekend.
