Expected, until Jones has more time talk with the current recruits. We may lose a few, but would not be suprised to see Jones pull in a few that he was struggling due being at CMU.

It would be nice to keep him, but like Marcus has said, grades could be an issue. I dont see him going ot ND even with the grades as Kelly should keep far away from UC recruits.
next receiver recruit in....

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The news of Texas Tech firing Mike Leach spread like wildfire after the first Under Armour All-American practice. Playing in the game this week are a pair of Texas Tech commits, including prized recruit Kadron Boone (Ocala, Fla./Trinity Catholic), who was stunned to say the least.

"I'm still in shock," Boone said shortly after practice ended. "I can't even explain how shocked I am. I don't know what to say, man,"

The 6-foot, 192-pound four-star receiver had been listening to the pitch of regional programs lately, but was always committed to the Red Raiders. With the news, Boone's recruitment appears to be re-opened.

"I've been talking to schools just in case something like this happened because you never know what is going to happen. I've been staying in contact with LSU, Cincinnati, Louisville, Florida, Miami and West Virginia," Boone said. "All I can do is take this in, get home or talk to my parents, get their reaction and go from there. The only thing I can do is sit back, talk to the Tech coaches and talk to my parents."
That is awesome, whether he eventually comes to UC or not. It is cool to see players of high caliber actively seeking UC. Things have changed a lot in a short time. Jones will pull in talent whether these guys stay or not. Who knows, maybe Jones would rather have someone else anyway. He could be honoring the commitment but secretly hoping that a few leave so that he can bring in a few more of "his" choices. I think Dantonio wanted this when he arrived, just went about it a way that left a bad taste with the previous commits.
Not surprising. He's not getting into ND though. Hopefully we can keep him because he's a playmaker.
He would be a fantastic talent in our offense, but I don't see us roping him back in.
