USA went on the road and improved to 2-0 in SBC play with a 71-59 win over FIU.

Troy leads ULM 31-18 with 7 minutes left in the first half at Monroe.

ASU at Denver 3:00 PM CT

MT at UNO 4:00 PM CT

NT at UALR 4:30 CT

Louisiana at WKU 5:00 PM CT
Troy beats ULM 83 82. Great game. That Hazzard guy is really a great player.
Denver beats ASU: 64-55
North Texas prevails in a hell of a game against UALR, 83-78.
Denver was without coach Joe Scott, who got 2 Ts in DU's loss against Northern Colorado the other night, so he picked up an automatic SBC one-game suspension for the ASU game.

ASU was missing some players and I think that didn't help, but I think Denver is starting to understand how to win. This Denver team is still among the top 10 youngest teams in the country, and to get to 10 wins at this point in the year is fun. That Martavious Adams is a great player for ASU, and I know it will be hard to beat them in Jonesboro.

Did I mention I really hate playing you guys

if we were missing players before the game we certainly are now. You guys knocked our leading scorer Daniel Bryant out of action for at least a month with a seperated shoulder

ASU will play the forseeable future with only 4 guards on its entire roster. thats the 3rd different guard we've lost to injury this year.

Looks like y'all have the wrong team coming up next. 05-mafia

even so, after the FIU disaster the Green can't take anyone lightly. 05-nono

Most of us still expect a tough game at the Convo.

Sorry to hear about the guard getting hurt. I hate to see any of the kids get hurt.

Tommie Sykes

ULM’s Tommie Sykes and his head coach Orlando Early emerged from a gloomy locker room long after the conclusion of Thursday afternoon’s 83-82 loss to Troy.

The defeat left the Warhawks at 0-3 against the Sun Belt Conference and looking for answers. ULM overcame a double-digit deficit, yet couldn’t finish the comeback with two missed shots in the waning seconds.

“Everybody is pretty down in there right now,” ULM’s Tommie Sykes said. “But you can’t get too down. I’ll take those two shots any day, over anything else. Those are two shots that should have gone down.”

was a frustrating game to Troy fans too. i thought troy was going to wind up throwing it away because they started playing like trash and ULM was trying to take the lead. i remember the previous game against Marshall where Troy couldn't hit their free throws down the stretch and wound up losing because of it. then they started to miss them during the 2nd half of the ULM game, and flashes of that Marshall game were coming to mind..
i couldnt believe that you guys missed those Free Throws down the stretch. I guess that it why you foul when time expires. I can't believe we got you guys into so much foul trouble... It is normally reversed.
