You came up short today. If Temple continues its progress i'm sure Temple is going to be in another bowl, as early as next season. The Owls are certainly going to learn how to win bowl games. This loss is part of the maturation progress.

I thought your offense was going to answer UCLA's TD early in the second half but that spot on the #22's 3rd down run was pretty bad. But, then Golden went for it instead of taking the chipshot FG for a 7 point lead. Everything went bad after that. The D played very well but the O lost their mojo after that early 3rd qtr drive.
Great season. I hope BG gets to play you next year.
I was very impressed with the Temple Owls as were many. Bernard Pierce is a stud and if it wasn't for him going down in the 2nd quarter, I have no doubt thinking Temple would of won this game. Great season Temple and good luck next year!

TU had a terrible call go against them and the injury is the type of injury which changes the game dramatically.

There were a couple of bad calls/spots but I can't help to wonder why with a lead you go for a first down rather than the chip-shot field goal. And then to go conservative and try to run it up the middle against a respectable opponent? I sort of understand going for it in a bowl game but heck, run a fake field goal. And with your heels on the goal line you run a slant that probably won't get you a first down anyway? Temple's defense was strong and it looked good until Pierce went down. Temple fans are probably saying the same thing. Sure is nice to have the benefit of hind-sight. A disappointing loss for the Owls.
