this is BS.

1. Twice in 3 years we get the 9 seed. Damnit, give us a 12 or a 13...we matchup better with the teams we could face in the second round than we do UConn.

2. How the hell did Tennessee get a 2 seed?

3. Kentucky again? Seriously, I wish we had someone new to beat.

4. Who's meeting me in the City of Brotherly Love?
Well, I guessed our seed right, unfortunately.

Tennessee as a 2 is Slive giving Pearl a blowjob for not getting SEC CoY.

My only worry about Kentucky is, as MB has posted, they are just as experienced as us. Morris would worry me if I thought UK had some depth behind him to give him a blow and stay fresh.

Waiting to see what time the games are and ticket/flight prices before I can make an attendance decision.
I've already booked my flight on SW. I'm there dude!

+100000

How did Bammer get a #10 seed? They have the worst record in their bracket.
Stunner ... at least you are consistent ...
Don't worry, Alpha. We'll avenge you. lmfao
We were 1-1 with the 'Cats this year and we beat five NCAA teams. Trouble is I have no idea which team will show up Thursday.

Good luck against UK.
I agree, what the hell is with the third 9-seed in 3 seasons? The winner of the 8/9 seed game typically ALWAYS has to match up with the No. 1 seed in their regional unless the #16 seed upseats the #1 seed in the first round (highly unlikely).

I mean, having to beat UK and then having to play UConn is just a bunch of crap. Like SLB said, why can't we be a damn 12 or 13 seed and have an easier ride in the Big Dance? Someone on the Selection Committee WANTS us to lose 03-hissyfit

Sax, we were the 11 seed last year. The 9 seed the year before.

I'm there brother. Flight is booked. Leaving Fri morning. Will arrive at 11:00am in philly
I don't know why I'm doing this...but, SAX: A 16 has NEVER beat a 1. The 8-9 match up ALWAYS gets the 1 seed in the second round. 01-wingedeagle

I was wondering who was going to post that. I am glad you did... it has been all I could do to not say the same thing. lmfao
It has come close to happening a few times. It WILL happen one day.

Thank you, MB.

Don't mention it, you're still an idiot. ;-)

A #16 seed has played a #1 seed 70 or 80+ times and the #16 seed has never won. I agree with MB, a #16 will win one day. It may happen this year b/c Southern is a pretty good defensive/athletic team and you saw what happened to Duke today when they play a VERY athletic BC.
Yeah, it's eventually going to happen. Look at when the Boston Red Sox were down 3 games to none and came back and won 4 consecutive games against the Yankees in the playoffs, I think 2 years ago. For C-USA's sake, let's hope Memphis isn't the first one.
