I've been working with him on wiping his feet when he comes in. He now comes in and stands at the door on the rug waiting for me to take each foot and rub it on the rug. He actually rubbed one of his feet last night by himself. I love my KoKo.

Why don't you just teach him to use the toilet?

You could also get him some doggie slippers.

If I could just get my dog to shut the door when he comes in I would be happy. I hate being in the middle of a game or something and he pushes the door open and leaves it!

My wife better not teach our dog to do something that I don't do. Wipe his feet so he doesn't track on the floor? Ridiculous. Why would I waste good money on a vacuum cleaner for my wife's Christmas present for nothing? And what about the extra cannister bags she gets on her birthday and those special days just because I'm thinking of her? Jeez, you really know how to mess up something good.

I can handle the everyday tracking in stuff but BIG HUGE muddy paw prints all over my kitchen floor is NOT good. He is catching on now really really well....I swear KoKo is smarter than alot of people I know.
