Just saw post on footballcoachscoop.com that details are being worked on to replace coach. Could be a league with several new faces next season. Also was reading NT board and the discussion about whether Dodge will be back next year or not. Some people saying Dodges old high school wants him back and is trying to make a move to get him this season or next.

yes...and then we lose our final two games...He did what we wanted him to...stabilize us. Now we need a coach to take us to the next level. I dont believe that CW can.

I wonder if ULM is going to be able to pay a coach $400K or so?
CW got us to the point of being competitive. While the record may not have indicated it, we had seasons where a break here and there and we are an 8 win team. CW just couldn't seem to get us over the hump. The finish to this year was indicative of the entire tenure.
Our recruiting has improved tremendously under CW. We have had some big wins and at 3 near upsets (Kentucky, Kansas, and Arkansas). We just couldn't seem to get over that hill. We thought this year was it but the team just didn't seem to be prepared for the last two games and that falls on the HC.
Charlie was the right coach at the right time for the right cost. Now we get to see if the administration is willing to put up the money to find someone to build on the foundation that is there in Monroe.
