Central won its four duals this weekend in New York, including victories over #18 Virginia and #6 Maryland. Chippewa wrestling continues to do the MAC proud.

And #20 Kent isn't too shabby, either!

Wow, CMU has really become a national power in wrestling! congrats!
This is a loaded question, but how are you guys SO GOOD?

Coach Borrelli. He consistently picks up great recruits and somehow gets them to perform. While CMU is outstanding at dual meets, we rarely do as well in Nationals. We still finish in the top 20 but have a tough time cracking the top 10. I don't know enough about wrestling to understand it fully but I think we always have good teams but when you get to Nationals you have to have 4 or 5 great individuals to go far. We are fortunate to have a coach like Borrelli, he is clearly the best coach on campus.
The other rankings have KSU at 14 and CMU at 10. Either way both are still great for the MAC!
