Why no Pierce today? Do you think you will have him by Friday?
Pierce went out after two plays according to the Temple PBP guys. Never heard what the injury was.

Great game by the TU defense.

When I congratulated BP, I noticed he was wearing a sling. He had that on when he returned from the locker room for the 2nd half.

He's got about 6 days to recover. This is huge.
Pierce plays Temple wins, if he doesn't i think ohio wins.

Golden said it was bad. He came by, and he looked okay. I didn't see what happened, but it's his shoulder. I hope it's a strain or something. Even a separation isn't that bad.

I hope he heals up, fast its a shame for a kid to lose such a huge game because of injury.. I don't quite know who I am rooting for yet but I hope both teams enter and leave the game healthy.
COME ON TEMPLE.. do what we couldn't.
Ohio won against NIU with special teams play, defensive takeaways, and passing attack. NIU had a far superior running game like Temple does.

Ohio has 2 WR's with over 600 yards on the season (Price, Brazill). Price is a senior and Brazil is a junior. There is a huge junior class of experienced WR's on this team behind the two stars.

Ohio has lost 3 game on the year:

6-5 Tennessee on the road by 11
5-5 UConn at home by 7
5-6 Kent St at home by 9

Ohio is not going to fold like a deck of cards when Temple shows up in Peden Stadium. If its close in the 4th quarter Ohio has the passing game to put it away.

This game is going to be a battle of Ohio Passing attack vs Temple D that has looked vulerable against the 15-30 YD pass play over the middle.
On offense Temple has to control time of possession with the run (which they are set up to do). Temple special teams (kick returns, punt returns) is awesome. This game will be decided by special teams and turnovers. It will be a very good game. Great that the division winner has come down to the last game of the season.

I think it will be a great game too, and I'm psyched that my Bobcats will be a part of it! I'm also glad to see you say that about special teams and turnovers since OHIO scored two touchdowns yesterday on special teams and an interception and we lead the nation in turnovers gained! :-). GO OHIO!!!

Oh... you have to root for the Temple Owls... They are one of the Big "Feel Good" stories in all of college football this year, not to mention a school record: 9 game winning streak... 03-cloud9
I love the continued conern for the late open pass in the middle of the field...
BP is no longer the enitre Temple team...
Temple has scored 137 points in the last 3 MAC games...

I don't know Buffalo was last years feel good story and there were not a lot of warm and fuzzies coming our way from Temple fans 03-wink

I want to root for Temple because they are long suffering. I want to root for Ohio because Solich is an Osborne product (like Gill).... I'll root for whoever wins to keep the MAC Championship in the East..
