I would love to see Troy take this one. A chance for a little redemption from the gridiron. I don't think the Gators are quite what they use to be but still a tough challenge. Win one on an SEC home court, something WKU could not pull off yet. :ncaabbs:
If Troy wins I will have a stroke. Florida returns most of their players from last season. They had the nation's best recruiting class last year. I hope Troy can make it a good game.

BTW, the game is being televised on Fox Sports Florida if anyone is interested or gets that channel.
The North Texas - Oklahoma State matchup is the "rubber game" of a 3 game deal. NT won 82-73 in '07 & lost 100-88 in '08. Dearly love to see a Mean Green win in Stillwater Saturday Nite !
We need to keep Tramiel out of foul trouble in the first half I think. Odufuwa has stepped up, but we'll need both to kick ass on the boards to have a shot. We'll also need the trey to fall better than it has in either of our opening two games.

Keep driving to the bucket too - tho I don't expect to get alot of calls in their barn.

I give us a 33% shot at winning tomorrow.

FIU beats NC-Central 83-73. This is going to be a long season without any post players on this team. We have some big bodies coming in next year though, so get your licks in now.

They're hanging tough. OSU leads 55-49 with 10 minutes left. I'm watching on ESPN360.
ASU got a lesson in Freshman heading on the road to face a veteran team that was bigger tonight.

UTEP had 2 guys 6'11 and both weighed at least 230 pounds. one near 275. They just pounded us to death inside. Then their senior laden guard unit put loads of ball pressure on and watch our freshman...well...perform as freshman

we lost by 30. Couldnt buy a basket in the 2nd half. Thankfully it was a guarantee game so no harm no foul. 3 game homestand vs UT Martin Indiana State and Ole Miss coming
ULM won on a buzzer beater.
FIU fell to James Madison last night and will face Murray State tonight at 7 p.m. to close out the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer - Miami Sub Regional. Murray State has some size, so should be an interesting game.

USA hung tough early at Tulsa but ended up losing 84-62. It was a horrible matchup as they have one of the biggest and best frontlines in college basketball. Tulso went 38 of 50 (that's right, 50!) from the free throw line. USA coach Ronnie Arrow went nuts over the refs calling every little foul and got ejected in the second half.
Not saying the calls were bad, mind you, just that they let nothing go and with Tulsa's size USA had no chance.
