Some sites have this game as a PK.

I however do not.

NIU 24
Ohio 13
Ohio 30
Huskies 17
It may all come down to how well Spann can perform following his injury.

Since I have no awareness of how fully recovered ChadS may be, I have two picks.

Having available the 90% or better Spann = NIU wins 30-27.

Having available less than 90% of Spann = OU wins 24-20
Ohio - 34

I'll also predict that the coaches don't have the defense ready (again) and we get down 7-0 or 14-0 early.
I predict, that regardless of outcome, there will be much belly-aching on this board......

if we win i'll leave my griping to a minimum...i just want to solidfy that we are going to a bowl game. not to mention we haven't beaten a worthwhile football team since Purdue. I still think if we lose this week, and at CMU, getting to a bowl might be a challenge
If we lose, this board will literally burst in to flames.

I doubt it, people seem to think we're going to lose. I don't, but most seem to - so I don't know if there will be that big of a shock.

I'm very surprised at a lot of these predictions. I'm just curious how many actually looked things over before they threw a score out there, and how many just kinda winged it. I'm not saying one way is better, I'm just curious.

Ohio thrives off taking the ball away from opponents, but since we don't turn the ball over they're going to have some problems. Expect a balanced offensive attack by Harnish and friends keeping the Bobcats on their toes. Special teams and field position will come in big time and we've got some of the best returners in Tommy Davis and Ricky Crider. The only way that we lose this game is if we beat ourselves.

Sometimes winging it or gut instincts seem to be as accurate as mulling over all the available data when forming an "educated guess."

Games often take on their own "rhythm" especially when the unexpected changes everything including momentum .... like a safety followed by a kickoff returned for a TD.

Neither team has the firepower to overcome critical mistakes.
TIGHT GAME..... Huskies win it late with a special teams play.

Go Huskies!
I predict.....................I'll Watch Like A Champion, tomorrow, via goat-cam.

I also predict that there will be at least 2 more cybes follow-ups to this thread, and one NIJ rant about how we are a mid-major and need to get over delusions of grandeur of being anything more than that.

Salerno, FTW.

Greatest post ever. You are a right on with that prediction.
