I Have Spoken

On a well earned MAC East Title. I cant think of a better team to clinch against than Kent

Hopefully the team is just as confident as you as Kent State would love to spoil those plans.
Definitely mr. Prophet and his endless personas.

At the poster, not the game. Should be a doozy.

Looks like Al Borlin without the flannel.
Temple is the real deal. Although their QB is tagged a runner, he throws a nice deep ball. Temple WR's have great size and speed. They are a disciplined group, and very well coached.

No offense to Kent, but Temple rolls. No one in the MAC aside from CMU can run with the Owls right now.
correct me if i'm wrong but a Temple victory alone will not clinch the division for the Owls. it would take a Temple victory and an Ohio loss to NIU for that to happen, right?

Not if the Flashes bring it Villanova style..........

Chester is a good QB. He throws a better ball than Vaughn. His issue is he has the fumbilitis disease. Very few WRs have better speed than ours, the problem is that they can't catch half the time. Campbell is pretty reliable. Nixon and Delano Green have 4.25-4.4 speed, but often drop the ball after getting past the secondary. I dont know about size, though, that's our biggest issue IMO. We have a 6'6 WR coming in next year, so I'm happy about that. Campbell is 6'2, Harper is 5'9, Delano is 5'10, Nixon is 6'1.

If Kent induces us to punting on 3rd down and throwing right to their defenders, then yes, they'll win.
welcome back prophet from your long wanderings in the wilderness 04-cheers

Hey, if our punter was worth a ****, it would've looked brilliant.

NIU runs the ball more than just about any other team in the MAC. We might be able to keep up.

By that, you mean, Temple committing 5 turnovers?

Actually, yes...turnovers will likely be the difference maker in this game. I think this actually going to be a heck of a game....

Having seen both in back-to-back weeks...Kent is not in Temple's league.

I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes, but Temple is a great MAC football team. Their front 7 is tough, and their secondary covers very well. Kent is too depleted to compete with Temple for 4 quarters.

I think the "secondary covers very well" statement is debatable...however, I agree that those Kent injuries are a big blow.

One way or another, I'm expecting a good game...

11/5/2009 MIAMI (OH) Lincoln Financial Field W 34-32
11/13/2009 AKRON Akron, Ohio W 56-17

CK..I respect your insight, but I just have a hard time believing Kent doesn't stand a chance given Temple's wins this year....they have one impressive win (Navy), but that is a nice win.....guess that's why they'll play the game....
