Down there we got a plant that grows out in the woods and fields.

Used to know a girl that lived down there and she'd go out in the evenings and pick her a mess of it ........

I like them all, and my sister and Mom are great cooks. Actually, I'm a pretty good cook.

I didn't say I could cook Q. Snob.
My wife used to clean and cook greens until I brought home a can of Glory brand mixed greens.

She tried them and said, "Why do I waste all that time and trouble cleaning these damn greens when I can open a can that tastes this good..."

Has not bought fresh greens since.

I still prefer fresh greens but you are right - glory brand is some fine eats ans as posted above...bring them white beans over here while you are at it. A few stalks of green onion and some cornbread and it's on like a neckbone.

good alternative and alot quicker and easier...no doubt, but the "soul food" version I use can't touch it.
Lunch today:

Ham sandwich from Canale's Grocery (Home of the Hams)
20 oz. Sundrop
Krunchers jalapeno chips
Moon Pie (chocolate)

Awesome!!!!!
Went to Houston's for lunch today. The food was good. The 2 Tiger fans I met for lunch there was better than the food.
