NIU @ CMU and Temple @ Ohio.

Wow!

Winners pack for Detroit. Losers go home and wait for a bowl bid.

Finally some real drama. 04-cheers

I believe these will be 11:00 and 2:00 pm game times on the U (ESPN-U).
Actually, I don't think both of those can be for the West and East championships. NIU and Ohio still have to play each other. The loser won't be able to catch CMU or Temple (in all probability).

Not necessarily. Things could change before then.
NIU v Ohio
UA v Temple
KSU v Temple
etc.
CMU could have locked up the West by then.
KSU and BG can still get to 6-2.

One example: Temple loses to Akron & KSU; OU loses to NIU. Then, TU, OU, and KSU enter the last week all 5-2. If KSU beats UB, then whoever wins the TU-OU game would be tied and would lose the tiebreaker to KSU head to head. Now if BG beats UA and Toledo, then we get tiebreaker madness.

There are still many scenarios to play out.

Still a lot on the table.

The sad thing is, Temple is having a great year so far but that means nothing. Temple has a three week playoff basically for a bowl game and the MAC east. If Temple fails, there will be no bowl game and all the positive media the last week or so will be gone...This may be the biggest three weeks in the history of Temple Football...

The rest of you clowns should listen to Axe! He knows what the phfuck he's talking about!04-rock
We need to take care of business @Ohio first. We got QB Chandler Harnish back from injury last night against Ball State. He only played limited time in the 2nd half to get the rust off and Coach Kill said he wanted to see what he could do and if he had any limitations. He went 9-for-9 passing with 60 yards and a TD.

Unfortunately, we lost RB Chad Spann to an injury in the game. Coach Kill said he would be evaluated today to see how bad the injury is but if he doesn't play against Ohio then our ability to win that game diminishes. Once we lost Spann last night we had no run game with Me'co Brown. Me'co also got hurt in the game as well and we finished off the game with our third string running back.

Hopefully we can get safety David Bryant back for this game. He's been out since the Toledo game.

Sounds like a good time to have a 9 day layoff to get healed up!
Moral to the story (thread).

I blew it.

I thought I checked both teams' schedules but apparently missed it.

However I might be HALF right. Maybe one game will be for all the marbles. :)

Yeah, and just think, Steve, if you had gotten the other HALF right to begin with, you would have won first prize..................being the first season ticket holder in Rynearson Stadium history! Granted, it would be lonely, but sometimes, lonely can be fun (in a pornographic sense)!02-13-banana
I can easily see Temple losing 2 of their final 3. This thing is a long way from over. Ironically, with all of Freddie Barnes catches this year, his double-dropped pass at the end of the OU-BG game may likely decide the East.

I hope so, the injuries are adding up. We've overcome four season-ending injuries on our D-Line by playing two true freshmen. I thought QB DeMarcus Grady did a good job by going 3-0 in the games he started while Chandler Harnish recovered. Now with our top 2 backs injured its getting rather concerning. We can't afford anymore injuries. This team was young enough to begin with.

We also just got done playing three games in 13 days.
