The "Award" for the team with the most players arrested and charges pressed against them was named "The Fulmer Cup," and Tennessee is in the running for that award again. Kiffin gave full scholarships to these players that nobody else in the SEC wanted, due to questions about their character. Now we know why they had such questions...

Key freshmen among Vols arrested

Way to go, Lane. I beginning to think that nut, Al Davis, had the right idea...
Meh, he took a chance and got burned (pretty badly). Once he kicks them off the team, these same players who won't get touched by other league teams will still get to UT but will know there are consequences for their actions. (Hopefully, because I hate to see these folks squander their talents.)

If they can't get into an AQ school, there's always Troy. 03-wink

Fulmer was in continuous trouble because of his lack of disciplinary action for his stars.
Fulmer was in consistent trouble with everyone, except the folks who should have been concerned - the AD and other school execs. But Fulmer was well tapped into the local good ol' boy network, so he continually got breaks he shouldn't have gotten...

Don't count on it. After the Gators kicked Jamar Hornsby off the team for using a dead person's credit card, Ole Miss gave him a chance. Then, before he'd played a damn game, he beat someone up in STARKVILLE with brass knuckles in a drive-thru. It should be known that Starkville is the home of our arch rival.

F'n idiot, ghetto thug.

Kinda weird though. Can his his upbringing really be all there is to blame? Read Michael Oher's story. He's friggin' HUGE and grew up with NOTHING. He was also taken #23 in the 1st round draft. He was given a chance by the Touhy family and didn't squander it. This Jamar f'n IDIOT was given TWO chances. .....and blew'em both.

BTW, Michael's story is coming out in the theaters on the 20th. "The Blind Side".
Look at the upbringing WVU freshman basketball player, Dan Jennings, had after being taken from his drug addicted mother. You'd think he'd never amount to anything, yet here he is...
Thats not true, Richardson is the player Meyers was calling during his visit that lead to the whole cheating thing. Florida wanted him badly and thought they had him. JAckson was commited to LSU until the last minute and they were pissed they lost him. I am pretty sure (not going ot look it up) Edwards had some Big 10 teams after him. If Tennesee hadn't not landed them they all 3 would have found homes in Div I programs 2 of them in the SEC. And there were no questions about any of the three guys, none. No incidents at all. You are just trying to stir **** and misrepresent the facts.
One more time...

More off the field troule for the Vols
