I knew we were going to lose this game since Harnish is not playing. Are we in the bottom 10 now?
Put down the gun, Robert. Miami has been improved every week since Dysert became the starter, they will get a win or 2 really soon but not today. On the road, their homecoming, our backup...get out of their with a W and we have a winning record.
aint over til it's over.....please be over soon.

I absolutely HATE playing prevent D.
That was $8 and 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back.

YEs..... very well put. I can't believe I sat in front of my computer to watch that crap. If we would have lost that game it would have been my last this season.
Not pretty at all... You have to take away the positives from the game though... NIU won on the road, with their backup QB, and really without any semblence at all of a passing game.
I thought the D-Line did a pretty good job today too. The front seven was constantly putting pressure on the Miami QB resulting in a number of sacks, batted balls, and pressures. The Miami QB made some real nice plays escaping pressure resulting in big plays; there really should probably have been at least 5 other sacks in that game.

Yeah, but now my basic cable looks like HD! WOOHOO
Did Sox fans years ago lament ugly wins - or celebrate them?

I prefer celebrating rather than anguishing over NIU's win.

Let it go and move on.

No kidding. SOme of these guys have the suicide hotline on speed-dial, and we won. I was more torqued up about Toledo. Let's finish up the schedule game by game. Hopefully Harnish will be back, and our secondary tightens up. Hey , Lovie has more to worry about today. That was horrible.
Bears suck more.
We are not bad, and w/o Harnish we cannot challenge CMU.
We are aiming for 7 wins!
No season is perfect and injuries are taking their tole.
Lets hope for a win with no more injuries.

There is no such thing as an ugly road win. When you win on the road it is a big win, period

That is one of the dumber things you have ever posted. It was not a "big win" it was an ugly win. A win is a win, but wins like this over lesser foes could in theory Kill a teams confidence. The players know what's going on, they aren't robots. They know their coach took a knee at damn near the 50 yard line with 40 seconds left because he "Believes in them."

"Big Wins" like this can tear a team up.

I don't think we can challenge CMU even with Harnish.

If the team that beat Purdue and WMU shows up, yes we can challenge them.

If the team that lost to Idaho and squeaked by Miami shows up, it will be worse than the Ball State game last year.
