You are in the friggin' MAC too. It's our bowl bid and MAC Title......all of us including Temple. I have no problem with Temple laying a "beatin" on MAC teams. In fact, I would be happy for Temple if you got one of "our" bowl bids, and if Toledo doesn't win the MAC Title (which is obviously not likely to happen), then I would be perfectly happy with Temple win "our" conference championship. But that is the point....."our" not "your" like I constantly see posted by Temple fans.
Now Temple, after hopefully losing to Toledo tonight, go out there and win yourself one of "our" bowl bids for your program.

No, it's about the constant bragging, the constant whining everytime somebody doesn't pick your team to win, the constant attitude that you're just screwing up the balance of the league momentarily until something better comes along and the constant why are you picking on us mentality anytime somebody has enough of the crap and says anything that isn't in line with the Temple point of view.
Please give examples, instead of generalizations that I have yet to see. As of right now, the only flamer I see is Rocketfootball. How do you complain about 'Temple Flamers' when you yourself just started a thread that is a huge flame?

It's not just this one guy who happened to register a new screen name for the 100th time since the first 99 get banned. And to be fair it is not every Temple fan that posts on NCAAbbs, but it is a pretty large majority.
In reality I wish the bickering from both sides would stop. In order for that too happen, Temple fans need to start referring to the MAC with the notion that Temple is an equal member for football and stop thinking of everythng as the MAC's and they are going to take it. Also, and just as important, other MAC schools' fans have to stop posting things for the purpose of trying to instigate something with Temple fans.

This is a message board, not a court of law. I've been known to go back and grab examples in the past, but quite frankly it's Saturday and I am watching GameDay and then college football and not wasting my time finding examples for you. I guarantee you there are plenty out there though, and I wouldn't put it past myself to go and get those examples tomorrow or Monday......or something. But believe me, there are plenty of examples. You have around 55 posts on this site, so you are probably not here enough to see them.

I'm sorry you see it as a flame, but that is not it's intention. Why don't you ask some of the other Temple fans like fishpro about me. They will tell you that I am always defending Temple and say good things about them.
I also think I am a fairly level headed poster. If I do post something to the effect of "I don't think X MAC school is really that good and going to beat Y MAC school" it is because I mean that in a fair assessment way and not to bash the one school. While many posters on here have been giving their MAC Polls with Toledo up kind of high in the polls, even as a Toledo fan I have been constant in saying things like "I don't think Toledo should be that high" or "I don't think we've seen enough from Toledo to put them that high at this point" and so on. I'm not bashing Toledo for saying those things, just being level-headed. Though I am probably harder on Toledo than the rest of the MAC.

Like PhotoDan said, I started this thread out of frustration because I see Temple as a conference brother and not an outsider. I have family that lives in Philly and have been to three Temple football games and had a great time at each......tailgating, during the game, and after the game.
And I am talking about the posts that are on NCAAbbs, not Temple's boards on Scout and Rivals. By the way, I post on Temple's Scout board every once in a while and have nothing but good things to say about my experiences there. Just wish it was the same here.
