I just got an autocall from the GOP, asking for a pledge of $75 to help defeat Obamacare.

"I support individual candidates. The GOP will get nothing, particularly after the way they screwed over Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter in the primary. They're also collectively not nearly as strong on individual liberty and free markets as I'd like them to be."

Got a sigh, and admission that she'd heard that response alot.

Damn right. Ron Paul had it right. Laugh now.

My experience is the exact opposite of yours. 4 or 5 years ago I got a call from Arnie's campaign and I donated a few hundred bucks. After the way he screwed us over I feel that money would have been more efficiently wasted if it had gone to the GOP.

I don't donate anything to anyone. It's my nature.

That's what the government is for, right? Aren't they the best to decide what causes my money goes to?
