Interesting to note that CMU gets 34 votes for top 25

Idaho receives 8, Wisconsin receives 26

CMU turning out to be quite the team this year, better than I originally thought. How long until they break the top 25? Will their schedule be strong enough to make it?

Thought we would be good enough to compete with them for the MACW but hope seems to be dwindling... Here is their schedule for the rest of this season:

BGSU
Boston College
Toledo
BSU
NIU

Not seein' many places for them to slip up .. We got a tough rest of the season ahead of us if we want to compete for this MACW thing.... =/
CMU BC game should be quite interesting to watch. If the Chips beat BC in Boston they will be in teh Top 25 the next day.

Yep and Arizona (their only loss) could creep in to the Top 25 as the season wears on.

Arizona is #22 in the first released BCS rankings.
That would be AWESOME if a 8-3 NIU team goes to Mt Pleasant facing #19 CMU. A chance to beat a ranked team and a chance to win the MAC West. That would be worth enduring Michigan's version of the frozen tundra on a cold late November night.
MD, the eternal optimist.
Never going to happen and if it did we would get spanked.

I wonder if Purdue was thinking the same thing this weekend... 05-stirthepot

Yeah that would be awesome...

You know what I'd settle for? Kill to figure out how to fix his coaching issues.

I know there are some things that Kill and I just don't agree on (like running a zone blitz...well minus the blitz) however there are a lot of fundamentals that he can't argue with that he sucks at.

I'd settle for a game without saying "Really Kill...really?" That my friend would be awesome.
When is the nation going to take note of what Brian Kelly is doing at Cincinnati. EVERYWHERE Kelly has been, he has built a winner. He did it at Grand Valley State (two time national champion), he did it at Central Michigan (where his protege Butch Jones is carrying the torch nicely) and he has done it big time at Cincinnati.

It will be very interesting to see the job offers Kelly gets after this season. Notre Dame is one school to watch. That is if Jon Gruden turns down his dream job.
