Quote:The Revs. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson attacked the bid by Rush Limbaugh to buy the St. Louis Rams on Monday, saying the conservative radio host's track record on race should exclude him from owning an NFL team. Sharpton sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, arguing that Limbaugh has been divisive and "anti-NFL" in some of his comments.

Two RACISTS trying to stir up trouble because THEY disagree with someone's beliefs.

Sharpton, Jackson attack Limbaugh's Rams bid

Ah... the good ole race card the "good" reverends don't leave home without it. 05-mafia

Quote:Jackson said in a telephone interview that Limbaugh had made his wealth "appealing to the fears of whites"

Ironic coming from a man who along with friends like Al Sharpton made their wealth "appealing to the fears of blacks".

How much money has Jackson made from the extortion of corporations fearful of being the target of a racially based boycott from him and his cronies?
Outstanding.

Denying business opportunities to those perceived as having divergent views from the choosen few.

Sounds completely American (nowadays at least, it sorta does.)
Speaking of stoking racist fear, Tawana Brawley, anyone?

One of favorite Letterman top 10s was "Things to like about Al Sharpton".

The one I remember is "I call him reverend, and he calls me admiral."
who wants to bet they are letting it be known they will step up efforts to shakedown the 'racist' franchises like the Redskins and Chiefs and force them to change their names.

just asking for a payoff basically to shut up

Nice try. It isn't because of his beliefs(well, it maybe partially) but it is because of his continuous ignorant(if not racist) comments that he has made over the years. Hey, at least he would end up with an all white team which should please him.

Show me one thing he's ever said that was racist.

I'm going to accept your argument, just so I can point out how idiotic it is.

Not his "beliefs" but his "ignorant comments"(of which you can't even source in context.01-wingedeagle Nice contradiction, idiot.

btw, guess the skin color of Mr. Snerdly(since you've already demonstrated you are in fact ignorant of Rush, I'll give you a hint: He's on the radio every day with Rush, as his side kick in the studio).

not that Media Matters will tell you this when they distribute the "continious ignorant comments" talking points.

03-lmfao You guys still believe that crap. I don't get it. Have you not heard the "man's" comments? Like the one where he says: watching the football game was like watching the Bloods and Crips without the weapons. Yeah, nothing racist about that. 01-wingedeagle

It's not racist. Why do you think all black people act like bloods and crips? Seems you have a problem with black people. Are bloods and crips thugs? Yes. Are there thugs in the NFL? Yes. It's not racist. Bigoted or prejudiced towards a few is not racism. I get sick of you libs not knowing the damn difference. Is your stupidity by choice?

Sharpton has never admitted it was a hoax, he still thinks (says) white folks raped and rubbed sh*t all over this girl. People's lives were ruined and I believe a DA, a white DA, committed suicide. The press never called Sharpton out on this. Sharpton is so full of himself it's disguesting.

Oh, BTW, on the Orielly show he's asked if blacks can be racists and he said no. Racism, he said, comes from those who hold the power. Now that we have a black prezz does this mean only blacks can be racists?

Of course you missed all his comments. You watch Faux. I pointed out one in a later post. I am sure you can find the rest if you look them up.

Both. I am sure I can look back and find some nice racist remarks from you too. Which explains your support of Rush "KKK" Limbaugh.

Notice how this was ignored.
I brought up Tawana Brawley to indicate that the good Reverend Sharpton isn't qualified to wag his finger at anyone on the subject of stoking racist fear.

And don't even get me started on the good Reverend Jesse "Shakedown" Jackson, chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Jesse Jackson.
Jessee Jackson picked the name Operation "PUSH" as in, we push before it comes to shove.

Wasn't ignored you ignorant waste of humanity. I was taking a shower and getting ready to go to work. As for "Mr. Snerdly"(that name is obviously NOT real AND quite frankly, sounds like a joke), there have always been racists that work with the opposite race when it is a benefit. Like the Republican Party and Michael Steele. 05-stirthepot
RobertN = Racist Bigot

as for Rush, newsflash moron. This quote floating around by Hacks, is a LIE, he never said this: " I mean, let’s face it, we didn’t have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back; I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark."

Its made up moron
