Halftime: Toledo 14, Ball State 13

Closer than I expected so far.

1st Quarter: Temple 14, EMU 0

EMU really missing Schmitt, IMO.

1st Quarter: Cinci 6, Miami 0

C'mon Redhawks! Surprise those Bearkittens!
21-0 Temple. We're running and passing all over them.

21-3
You have to give some credit to EMU. No program in the MAC has been able to display the level of consistency they have over the past three decades.
EMU blocks a punt and gets the ball at the Temple 7 and fumbles the ball on the next play 03-razz

In a similar case of ineptitude, Toledo sacks Pge on 3rd down to force a punt, but the UT player can't get out of the way, and it hits his back. Recovered by Ball State.
21-6 Temple at the half :)
BSU 16 Toledo 14. Wow. This is a surprise.

No, that's just bad luck. Please, do not begin to compare such misfortune to the perfected art of EMU ineptitude.

I don't even want to hear you think you have a corner on that market. Anything EMU has done, we have done worse.
BSU 22 Toledo 14. Should be 23 and up 2 scores but BSU kicker misses extra point.
Toledo ties it up on a long pass play into the endzone plus 2 point success.
BSU 30 Toledo 37. Toledo got screwed on a horrible call(reviewed and upheld). BSU scores and makes 2 point conversion. With about 45 seconds left, Toledo goes in for a TD after really good field position on kickoff and makes 2 point conversion with 27 seconds left. Now BSU gets ball back. Can BSU pull it out? Wow.
This UT/BSU game is insane...
Toledo sneaks out with the win but what an ending.
Can't say anything has been answered about Toledo. We finally beat the Muncie Jinx, but way too many mistakes, turnovers, and penalties. No way that game really should have been close. We fumbled inside the BSU 30 in the first half. Then leading in the 2nd half have that punt fumble thing that instead of having the ball at midfield it gave them a short field and they scored a TD. Then an INT returned to the 5 yard line that resulted in a TD. A couple of defensive holding and pass interference calls on 3rd down when we had them stopped on two drives that BSU scored points. Numerous drives on offense were halted because of getting called for holding.

We just played a very bad game mentally. I think the whole Muncie Jinx thing was in their heads.

Next week we host WMU. I don't think we will know if Toledo is going to compete for the West Division Title this year until we see how that game against WMU goes.

Based on what I've seen in DeKalb so far, you should have few worries.
Jeez, Western :(
