Believe it or not...that's not the funniest name in sports...that honor belongs to a race car driver from over a decade ago....

I think the first two posts hit on the top 3 internal candidates in Power, Soto and possibly Cowboy (probably in that order). The two external guys I'd be interested in and hope the Reds feel the same are Dave Duncan and Leo Mazzone. If I had to guess, they first take a run at Duncan and then Mazzone. If they don't bite, it stays in house with one of the three mentioned. But that's all just total speculation on my part. I think any of the 5 would be an improvement over Pole.

He's on a morning sports talk radio show down here and you can tell the man is absolutely itching to get back into coaching. With his buddy Bobby Cox retiring after next year it would probably be a lot easier to get him out of Atlanta then it would have been before Cox made his announcement.
The man's knowledge of the game is just absolutely insane. Most of the time I wish he was the only host on the morning show and do nothing but tell stories and talk baseball. It'd probably get higher ratings than any other AM channel show in this city.
