As I said on the other thread, if you limit Chad Spahn to only 4 touches you are going to lose a lot of games --- and you should. Meco did a lot of running side to side and outran no one.

We didn't lose because C-Spann only got 4 touches.

The list of key reasons why Vandals won and we lost have little to do with Meco or Spann but alot with the play upfront.

We lost for a lot of reasons, including no tackling on defense. I am just shocked though that a back like Spahn only gets 4 touches, I am troubled by play calls on long yardage that are dump the ball to Meco and hope he can beat 8 defenders on his own. He's not that kind of player (who is?). It worries me that the coaches think he is. Here is another example. Moore is not a big kid, and he's a true freshman. When you NEED a TD you throw a fade to a true freshman? Really? You have a big senior receiver on the other side, yet you throw it to a short true freshman? I don't think the players were put in a position to do their best today (and they didn't).
