The only thing bad about is UAB would be back out West again.
With UAT tanking this season, who says that UAB might not get a few more butts in if they were seated in somewhere like Greensboro?
It's all about seding. In that bracket we can beat about any of them if we play well.
I still think we are a 3 bid league. We just need to tcob at home and do well on the road. NO bad losses and we will be ok.
I would settle for an NIT, as long as we got Bama. It's time for us wo whoop that ass again.
I honestly don't think the committe will give us enough credit unless we beat Memphis once and only lose maybe 3 more games all year. I think we need to be sitting around 21-22 wins with a Memphis win in there too.
besides, Bama probably won't even make the NIT.

All this speculation just cracks me up. These bracketology things are all just someone pulling teams out of thin air and slapping them on the bracket. No one knows what's going to happen until the NCAA's top secret selection process actually happens. There's always a surprise or two, and aside from the No. 1 seeds (which sometimes themselves surprise some people), no one has a clue what's going to happen.
Just let the games play out and we'll see where we are in March.
I think it is fun to speculate. Every game is important (some more than others) and I don't see a problem with tracking the RPI daily and seeing if UAB is being discussed in the Dance talk.
If the speculation bothers some of you then like most of you do me, just ignore it.
Talk is good. Whether we're being "slapped" on a bracket or riding on the RPI (inflated or not) it is another oppertunity for these "super secret selectors" to see our name and think UAB.
