Middle Tennessee had 28,105 announced for the home opener against memphis. Me and at least a couple of others think that was lowballed by the Media Relations folks (I was guessing closer to 29,500 - stadium capacity is 30,788 with even more for SRO), so another record breaking crowd could be announced (possibly) when Mississippi State comes to town as the first $ec team to play in Johnny Red Floyd Stadium.

Oh BTW, in case you missed it, this past weekend, Middle Tennessee defeated a Maryland team in College Park , MD, that was bent on revenge for its loss in Murfreesboro to last year's edition of the Blue Raiders.
Based on what we've seen from Miss. State so far and the way MTSU has played, Miss. State better bring their A game or they're going to take an L. I see MTSU making a bowl or atleast having a winning record this year.
Thanks for all the pictures! That was great to see. I can remember when ETSU and MTSU were equivalent schools. The win last week at an ACC school was impressivel.
