Is it possible to turn off your status updates to certain people, and in return, have certain people's status updates not appear in your news feed? I've been wondering this for a long time and I can't find anything on the interwebs. Thanks.
If you go to "Settings" -> "Privacy Settings" -> "Profile" -> "Status and Links" -> "Customize" you can list people that cannot see your statuses. You can do that with just about all the options on that page.

And if you don't want to see someone else's info in your feed, you can click on the "Hide" button next to one of their updates on your feed then none of their stuff will show up on your feed.

My favorite feature, the yahoo interface through their new home page doesn't "listen" to that setting and seeing all that bs from "certain people" makes me realize how much I like it.
Tryin' to make it so I can't stalk you guys are ya?
You're a scary dude 5.
Facebook use is way over rated.
Yeah, I always thought you had to suck it up and live with it when you'd see all the ex-GF's "I'm f*cking this guy now" status updates. Now I don't have to live with that sh*t. Thanks guys!
