with the recruits of the other D1 schools in Arkansas besides Fayetteville. He could be a big help, and it is almost impossible to get good information elsewhere. He can tell you how many pimples Hog recruits have, but usually knows nothing at all about any one else's, unless they are from in-state, and he usually knows those pretty well.

Was he on one of the "Hog Talk" shows today. It's quite annoying to listen to him never giving UALR, ASU, UAPB, or UCA basketball even a mention. Most of his AAU kids probably have a better chance to play at those schools than in Fayetteville.

That's all this state is about, promoting the hogs and covering up the things that go wrong.

That's exactually why I never listen to any of the local sports shows.
As you post mentioned "Hog Talk", that should be the name of the shows, not "Sports Talk". The other one should be "Drive Time Hogs." I understand that hog talk is most prevalent in this state, but when they do mention something about UALR, they quickly get to another pig subject. And it's usually good ole Rick Schaefer who gets the subject back on pork. You hear more positive about the Trojans from the two morning shows on the Buzz. They of course do more talking about the hogs, but they do talk about the Trojans a lot, and Coach Shields is on there quite often.
That's what I like about the morning show. It's mostly Hog stuff and that's perfectly fine, but yes, they still devote some time to UALR. In fact, the other morning, Tommy, Bazzel, and that former Hog from Moss Point, Mississippi (can't remember his name) were all talking about how Arkansas should drop The Policy and play in state teams. I loved it!
