Kelson's situation is a puzzle to me. If we were clearing out roster spots for the various possible incoming players this year, he would have been a logical one to nudge toward the door and advise to move on. UNLESS the staff see considerable potential there. Since they didn't, I have to assume they do.

IMO, this will be Kelson's make or break season. If he doesn't contribute greatly to the team this season, I think he'll be moving on next year. Not anything I've heard. Just my gut feeling. And unfortulately, I have a large gut.

Apparently he hasn't figured out that you have to play defense to get playing time here. III figured it out. It's about time Kelson did.

I don't really know what the problem is, but I was told by a reliable source that he's going to have to s... or get off the pot. So that tells me that this is his make or break season, and with the guys ahead of him, I can't really see him breaking through, unless he makes a big time impression in some early practices. Some will also depend on who they're recruiting, and if they feel that player has more potential to help the team than Kelson. Either way, if he doesn't make it here, I feel certain that they'll find a place for him to play and finish his education if that's what he wants to do. This is obviously all speculation on my part.
But it should be fairly obvious to any observer of the program.
I guess since the other players didn't show up it is a moot point, but all that is what puzzled me.
