Some of us talked for years about some of the Arkansas kids who came in here playing for Harding and other D2 schools, and shot lights out against us. Kids who could obviously play for us and had good basketball skills. Kids under 6' who didn't fit the profile on paper, but who can play the game.

III has proven that we have probably missed the boat on some kids in state, especially in those years where we didn't have anyone who could hit outside shots. I would hope that our coaching staff, while looking for the best talent in the country that we can recruit, aren't overlooking someone right close to home. I can nearly guarantee you that there is one kid every season in the State of Arkansas who fits that profile.04-rock
I think it is worth a shot to bring them in. You have 13 scholarships. It is worth the risk to have one big man project on the squad. Also worth it to have one guy who can shoot lights out, even if that is all he can do. That still leaves 11 slots, and not even all of those will be in the rotation. Why not take a chance?
