Come Tuesday I am sure some of my collegues and clients will want to know if I caught our pasting of U of M.

Grilled? Broiled? Any thoughts?

I'm thinking corn on the cob is a natural with Crow.

Or should go the Black Bird pie route?
Crow flambe' is not without it's attractions. Throw in a good whine and you have ho cuisine.

We at WMU should publish a cookbook for Crow. We've become accomplished culinary experts at ways to consume it-big games have been our downfall. LOL

Chaser?

Bell's Obiewon?
When you eat crow anything that can get the taste out of your mouth-fast-is an appropriate chaser.

I'm partial to 'Gallo Muscatooni' but whatever meets your needs. After yesterday's loss 'Hellfire Hot Sauce' would have been a suitable appertif.

Preparation H wipes as a carry-around are advised if you follow this last bit of advice.

I have a pack out ready to go as I type. Like AMX, I never leave home without them.

Gallo? I'm now leaning toward Mobil 1 or Annie Greensprings. I'll have to ansel that for a while.
One good thing about eating Crow as a geriatric-feathers provide good roughage. Between that and getting our collective ass reamed massively yesterday I don't think constipation is going to be a threat in the coming week.

Better double up on those Preparation H wipes-you can never have enough when you get over 50!

Doctor Oz convinced me awhile ago to use ground flax seed. Works great.
Dontcha just love Oprah?

I might use the feathers along with Indian corn to adorn my front door for this fall.

Any thoughts on that?
I'm thinking along those same lines. I planted 8 stalks of Indian corn in my garden this last year on a lark. The local nursery needed a $ 20.00 purchase in order to realize a coupon and I only had $ 18.50 on the counter, so I reached over and grabbed a packet of Indian Corn seeds.

The 8 stalks have endured wind storms and spotty rain to look pretty handsome right now. Am anticipating getting some good corn off of them for decorations and such.

One question-do you need to remove the lesser corn cobs to promote better growth in the major ones? Have been pondering that for a couple of weeks now.
I'd say you eat as much crow and be open about it as much smack you talked in terms of the winning expectations you dished out. I hate it when someone talks TONS of smack on how they're going to win, your team sucks, blah blah -- then after the game be like "Yeah, you won. Big deal. Was just trash talk..." when if they DID win, they'd be rubbing it in. The crow-eating has to be humble and open as the amount of trash you doled out!
Eat crow? For what? Because you were pulling for your alma mater and they were pulling for a football factory that they have no affiliation with? If I were talking smack to a UM alum I might eat crow. If I was talking smack with some guy who changes his allegiance based on the weekly coaches poll, then no crow required.

Hey Lola. I generally don't speak trash and didn't here.

Just having a little fun with those of us who thought WMU should have played better and didn't.
No excuses.

I have a couple sayings that kinda guide me living in this mixed up jumble up world. One is . . .

. . . If you can't poke fun at yourself, don't worry, I will.

Now go tell your story walking.

You ought to take up gardenning, Marty. It's a great hobby really! You can grow beats, spinach, peppers-even carrots for your eyes so you don't pitch up those air balls!

Our servings of crow should be less than normal considering we ARE playing scU-M here, and not, say, Ball State.

A fellow alum said it best at the alumni gathering here in DC: "I throw class right out the window when it comes to scU-M. F*ck them."

Tell them you'll only eat crow cooked on a fire started by wood from a Buckeye tree. Watch them slink off. Profit.
I would suggest a whole lotta Old Crow before you start cookin'.

I hope you know what you are doing with that Indian corn! The old wife's tale says that that is a sign of fertility. And yes, I do believe it to be true. The three years that my wife used it to decorate, three kids. Or was it three times we moved, three kids. Oh well, it was one of those.
