"Nick’s Pick: Temple 14 – Villanova 13"

I LOL'd.
I'll take it
last time they played watch Vill OL warm up in front of me & laughed at them
Vill won game in OT
Ohio vs. UConn is going to be a very difficult game to predict.

The Bobcats tend to start of the season well then slump in the middle. I expect it will be more of the same this year.

The only thing that really surprises me is the total points scored that he's predicting for the Army-EMU game. I don't think that either offense can put up the many points in the opener. Other than that, pretty spot on.

And?
Nick is not giving Troy any credit. They are a strong team from the sunbelt and have played some strong teams within the last few years. Even though they lost to the big guys they stayed with them and played hard throughout the game. I think Troy wins this one.

Why don't you do a little research on when those games were played polish?

I get it, you don't like Temple or Philadelphia...give it a rest
I think Temple wins more of the 28 - 14 variety.

I do that everytime I read Nicks stuff.
Major typo here, with the UConn game comments on the CMU-UA game.

Central Michigan at Arizona
Game time: 9 p.m.

2008 Records: Central 8-5 losing to FAU in the MCB; Arizona 8-5 beating BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl

•This is Central’s first ever game against a PAC-10 team. The ‘Chips are 0-15 recently against their first road BCS team losing by an average of 31-points per contest.
•Arizona has won eight straight home openers and is 4-0 lifetime against the MAC. AZ beat Toledo last season 41-16. Central beat Toledo last year 24-23.
•Entering the season, Central’s Dan LeFevour has pass for over 6,600 yards and rushed for over 1,800. He is a two-time 1 st team All-MAC performer.
Nick’s Pick: Arizona 41 – Central Michigan 24

Thoughts: This publication has tremendous respect for UConn coach Randy Edsall and the entire Huskie football program. Since 2004 UConn has not only consistently beat MAC teams but for the most part, they have beat them up badly. This year’s Ohio team is quite intriguing and this publication believes the Bobcats will get a rare win over UConn.

I agree on Troy. I have also watched UConn on some replays including the International Bowl-very impressed with the Huskies. I think UConn is a winner also.OU loses this one in the trenches.

No I get it, you can't comprehend a simple statement of facts and instead would chuckle at the notion of your team losing when they have lost the majority of the games to that same school. Funny how old losses in football don't count but old wins in basketball count for the "mecca"!
My error in the copy-paste function on the comment for the CMU/Arizona game - should state...

"Central has been the best team in the MAC over the past three year but has struggled mightily against most of their non-conference BCS opposition under Butch Jones. Arizona is an up and coming PAC 10 program under Stoops and should roll the 'Chips."

As for UConn and Troy, those are two very good football programs that I have the utmost respect for but in each case this week, I do believe the MAC teams hosting those fine football teams will prevail.

Good luck to all MAC schools this weekend.

Yeah, I've never seen anything so disrespectful

"Thoughts: Clawson keeps the tradition going of first year BG coaches getting off to a quick start against a very good Troy team that will once again be in a post season bowl. "

No credit at all.

Temple 10, Nova 7 - 3rd Quarter
It's now 17-14 end of the 3rd quarter.
Spoke too soon, make that 24-24 with 1:24 to go in the game.
