I was at the Lakota West game last night a Dayton's Welcome Stadium. Here are some of my thoughts on Jordan Hicks. He missed 3 easy sacks in the first half. It was just him and the quarterback and the quarterback faked him out (Jordan whiffed). On two of the missed plays, Northmont hit two big passing plays. He also missed some tackles and over-ran plays. On the positive, he did have a few nice plays. On included the tipped pass he intercepted. He also had 9 tackles but missed many more.

On the two other Lakota West players (Alex Smith and Kevin Schloemer), really nothing to report. Lakota West had a few good drives but Alex did not have any receptions. Lakota West's line was not dominating at all.

I will try to get with my brother and report on Luke Massa's day with the upset of Colerain!
Lakota West stumbles out of the gate.
Sounds like good ol' Larry ball was being played no doubt.
How long is that program going to put up with Cox? His teams underachieve year after year after year.

Also, I've seen Jordan Hicks play a lot of football since his freshman year and I've never come away overly impressed with him. He is a good player, but there is no way I would ever have imagined him being an Elite National Recruit. He just isn't IMO.

Alex Smith didn't impress me much at all either in the Elder scrimmage last week.

Kevin Schloemer based on what I've seen of this West class through the years is the best prospect on that team and will have the best college career.
Speaking of under-achieving Cleveland Glenville loses to St Ignatius. I think Glenville has about 10 elite D-1 prospects. Does anyone with that much talent under-achieve as much?
Crew, when the HC is more worried about being able to brag about how many players he sends to OSU than he is about winning State Championships you'll have that.

Nobody underachieves like Ginn and Glenville but that is what happens when you make it about yourself like Ginn does and not about the kids...

It's almost like those kids are machines being used for Ginn's street cred with O$U and other colleges.
