I wil give you my favorite five action movie of the 1990's as well. I agree with all but one of your movie choices, I love a good war movie and thought Speed was just not intresting enough, with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. Here are my top five action movies of the 1990's to leave no doubt in my mind.
1. Terminator 2
2. The Matrix
3. The Rock
4. Independence Day
5. Saving Private Ryan

1 - Pulp Fiction
2 - Saving Private Ryan
3 - Reservoir Dogs
4 - Terminator 2
5 - The Rock

Some of them are a stretch but if you dont have QT in a 90's movie thread about violence then i question your rankings.

"I'm gonna git you sucka" has to be on the list.

I wouldn't consider Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs to be an action movies. They're both dialogue driven.

1. Unforgiven (Western/Action) --- One of Eastwood's better performances. Hackman is great as well.
2. Braveheart --- Excellent performance by Gibson.
3. Heat --- The buildup leading to the first scene ever with Pacino and De Niro is just incredible
4. Saving Private Ryan --- Great story... the characters were perfectly cast.
5. The Fugitive --- Tommy Lee Jones stole the movie.
