I think it'll be USC, but just because they have a great team this year and also because they had the best record last year and won 1/2 of a National Championship.
CAL might be the only Pac-10 team to beat USC. I think if the Trojans lose they will fall on the road. But CAL travels to L.A. so it will be tough for the Golden Bears to win.
My money here rides on SC. But that October 9th game could decide that question. If CAL wins, they're likely in the drivers seat based on the remaining schedule. Only toughie CAL really has to worry about is the game at Arizona and Mike Stoops in the controls. The Bears should take care of business in Seattle. Now as for SC, they have a bit tougher schedule after the Cal game. Should take care of business at home against ASU and U-Dub. They have to play BOTH Wazzu and Oregon State on the road in back-to-back weeks. If SC loses to CAL again at home, these two games are going to be must win situations. And must be done on the road.
I hope WSU can take care of busy with USC at home Oct. 30th..That's dad's weekend as well and so it should be a crazy atmosphere.

What an atmosphere it's going to be when SC comes to Pullman on the 30th. Could the Cougs spoil SC of a National title bid and Pac-10 championship on that day? We'll see.
I gotta go with SC still solid on D and a great O backfield and great coaching. There will be a mad rush for places 2-5 in the conf with Ore, ASU, CAL seemingly the next runners up but who knows its definately a wide open race.
