The Big 10/11 + the Pac 10 are unhappy that they're going unnoticed from the end of their regular season until bowl selection time while the SEC, Big 12 & ACC have conference championships seen nationwide. Soon the NCAA will require conferences have to 12 football playing members. The consensus is:

Big 10/11 adds Notre Dame
Pac 10 adds Utah & BYU
BE adds Memphis, UCF, ECU and Marshall

8 team playoff to start which would morph into a 16 team playoff the first time a SEC team gets "screwed"...
I think the BE will go after Memphis UCF and ECU. After doing alot of research I think that Temple could be a very good option.
