This may just be me. But I told trust the Hoos Report. They don't seem to always have accurate information.
Why would we be on Selby's list? Has he ever showed us any interest?
Actually GP said in his new blog post that those are the four teams that have talked to Selby's mom on the phone, GP never gave those 4 teams as the "list" so to speak though.

before he committed to UT we were supposedly on his short list for a visit plus there has been some speculation he might be interested due to relationship with the Bartons
He was quoted by a reliable source that he doesn't have much of a relationship with the Bartons. If he is a WWW guy, and it looks like he is, then we can forget-about-it.

hard to say. Selby claimed he never heard of WWW before his mother met him in at King James. As for the relationship with Barton not sure how close they are. this article seems to give the impression they aren't quite as distant as many seem to make it....

That's a good article. It was, however, before he decommitted. As for WWW, I am sure he's in there somehow.

Yes, Selby showed interest in Memphis before he commited to UT and was planning a visit to Memphis along with a visit to Virginia Tech.

Exactly.
There are people here talking about these guys with no clue about anything about them, Some guy claimed that Selby & Barton are cousins on his
estranged father's side and didnt know each other until recently.
Josh lived with his father for most of his life, his father lived out in the Golden Ring area and he attended Golden Ring Middle, which has since closed down.
Selby & Barton's relationship is still family, and if Selby doesnt come to Memphis it would be because we already have Jackson & Barton at PG.
