I really want to see this kid play if that is the new comparison for Jackson. I dont think the LeBron hype pre-NBA is on the level of the Joe Jackson hype.
Can somebody without bashing me tell me how Jackson compares to Iverson other than being short and athletic?

Joe has the jumpshot of Bird, the athleticism of Lebron, the killer mentality of Kobe, the high flying of Jordan, the rebounding of Chamberlain, the post-moves of Abdul-Jabbar, and passing skills that are too ill to compare. He makes Magic Johnson look like Marko Jaric. Karl Malone like Casey Jacobsen. Pistol Pete like Quincy Douby. That, my friend, is the closest comparison I can give you of the great Joe Jackson. ;-)
I heard that Joe Jackson has to wear an extra thick cup because his nuts constantly hit the rim when he goes up for a dunk.

Joe Jackson is 5'9" on a good day. Iverson is a legit 6'0". Joe Jackson will be a solid college player for 4 years. Any comparisons to future NBA Hall Of Famers are comical.
Joe Jackson once shot a 3 pointer in the FedEx forum.... but thats not the impressive part... He did it from the Logans on Hacks Cross while sipping a raspberry lemonade and pouring steak sauce on his 92 oz steak... i was there when he did it... no way Iverson pulls THAT off...

Nice. I would only add that, although he appears skinny, he can bench press Shaq, and he makes Bill Brasky get his coffee in the morning, and Chuck Norris is his maid.

joe jackson is not 5'9. i am 6'0 and he looked 5'11 to me when i stood next to him at the river city showdown. 5'10 at the shortest. does it really matter though? he has a 38'' vertical..and i like to compare JJ to jonny flynn, but JJ is just JJ. nobody plays like him. not iverson though, at least not IMO.
