Mario Crawford To Join Football Monarchs
Detriot, Michigan Running Back From Fork Union To Don Blue & Silver This Fall
NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion football team is proud to announce the addition of running back Mario Crawford (Detroit, Mich.) to its roster for the inaugural 2009 season.
The 5-8, 175 pound Crawford graduated from Romulus High School, where he was a two-time all-state selection and all-conference honoree, before enrolling at Fork Union Military Academy last year.
The Old Dominion football program will kickoff its first season of NCAA Division I Football Championship play this fall. The Monarchs will play an 11-game schedule, including a seven-game home slate beginning on September 5th when they host Chowan at 6:00 p.m.
