Fine effort by Curtis all weekend. His best play all year (even the PGA Championship where bad luck cost him a Top 10 finish). He had chances at birdies on 15, 16 and 18, but missed long putts in all three. That said, there was no catching Kenny Perry today, who just drained too many ridiculously long putts in first 11 holes to be caught.
I'm thinking he could make another run at the British Open if the course is laid out for his game.
