So everybody loves UB. I guess the only question is who's going to be first loser, second loser, etc.
there sure seems to be a lot of enthusiasm for the Bulls this year which is all well and good, especially considering how low the program has been since becoming I-A. i would just caution Bulls fans to remember the games aren't played on paper and it's a lot harder to stay at the top than it is to get to the top. (and now i've reached my quota of two overused sports cliches for the day! LOL)

i noticed there's even a Bulls fan who commented on this article talking about a move to C-USA. doesn't Marshall's failure in that league mean anything? i'd be wary of a move like that!
That guy is a moron. His posts can be safely ignored.

oh ok! thanks for the inside information on him!
The Broncos are undefeated in Detroit. It would be bad news for Buffalo if this were the matchup. I'm starting to think this might be the year that WMU breaks through and wins a MAC championship.

The Bronco's can't beat the team up north.....02-13-banana
Can't? LOL. They haven't played the game yet.

You have an unfair advantage with your home games.....you are used to the smell! Us, how ever are so repulsed by the gut wrenching, reek of your chearleading squad's yeast infections that many of our players can bearly stand never the less run around and play their A game.

I've been to 3 games at Mount Pleasant, and I always vow never to go back, because my Broncos never win when I go, and the weather is usually BRUTAL. I have never stood in weather like the game a couple of years ago.

So I don't recall the cheerleaders. The Broncos HAVE to win this year. Take advantage of Tim Hiller and Brandon West' experience. I can't stand it.

That "smell," is the the odor of a BROwNCOw getting a goat enema by a squad of CHImPS! And yes, we are used to it!
Its been a whole 3 years since we've beaten Central it is now approaching Cubs Billy Goat territory in upper lower time.

Don't worry, it's not you. Western has only won one game in Mt. Pleasant since like 1970 or something like that.

Yeah Central has three times as many at Waldo over that stretch. Luckily we still have a pretty heafty lead in the all time series to fall back on.

Actually Central has at least 9 wins at Waldo in that time period. But you're correct that Western has the all time series advantage right now.
Central has 3 wins at Waldo in the last 23 years. And Western has a very comfortable 8 game series lead.

Western is also a miserable 1-3 their last 4 trips to Mt. Pleasent where as Central is an amazing 1-3 in their recent trips to Waldo. Its been a pretty much tit for tat series since the late 70's with Central's current win streak of 3 matching a similar streak the Broncos had eariler this decade. The series has remained remarkably even throughout the ups and downs of both programs. Kind of amazing really. For one side to claim an advantage you have to ignore certain stats, for anyone to claim dominance is going to take some work.
HAVE to beat CMU at Waldo this year. Here's to decent weather and a packed house.

WMU v CMU record

WMU wins at Dismal Flats: 15
2 ties
CMU wins at Waldo: 12

This is a hand count and might be accurate.

Fantastic link; thanks Steer! 2006 and 2007 were disgusting and gut-wrenching, respectively.
The site I was using only tracked the series since the 70's when both schools were Division 1. In that time period, Western has exactly one win in Mount Pleasant while Central has 9 wins at Waldo. Looking at that historical record that goes all the way back it's easy to see why Western enjoys a lead in the series. We spotted you a 21 game lead after the first 28 games.
