Oh yeah. It hasn't been officially renewed yet, but I can't imagine they would cancel it. As for the last scene and what was implied...nah. Never happen.

the writers are geniuses in a weird criminal type way. I think it's one of the best shows on network tv, no doubt.
Wasn't everyone supposed to watch the American Idol finale last night?

I don't watch it but see clips because honestly, after raising a daughter that was an entertainer (singer/dancer/actress) for 10 long years ( lessons and contests and shows) that show is boring to me. When she worked at Six Flags in Atlanta and even Libertyland here, the kids there were more talented than anything I have seen or heard on American Idol. I think I watched the first 2 seasons regularly then was totally sick of it. I dvr'd last night and watched snippets of it. I guess the way I see it, good singers are pretty much a dime a dozen nowdays. Maybe if I hadn't sat thru all the rehersals, contests and shows I would feel differently.
Have it recorded to watch tonight so I can edit out the commercials!

I love these shows.
Criminal Minds => My thought processes documented (j/k)!
CSI Series => to know how to hide the bodies!
Ghosthunters => So I know if they came back!

And I already have an American Idol: My beautiful bride of 27 years!

Nicely done. All of those shows are great.

As for the last line...does she read this board?

Just kidding.

NCIS is another good one.

I can understand where you're coming from. I have a music industry degree from Memphis State, was lead singer in a band for years and I've worked in the media business for all of my career. Some people love AI, some don't care, some hate it. I like the talent and competition aspect of it. I especially enjoy critiquing the talent and seeing what Randy and Simon have to say. I can't sit through every minute of every episode. I like to jump through it and catch key performances and comments. Last night was especially interesting since they brought in celebs to share the stage with the contestants from this season. The formula works.

I'm kind of sour on the music industry as a whole. It's good to see talented kids get a shot at a music career. Unfortunately, the commercial music industry is a meat grinder.

But they cancel The Unit, one of the best on TV. Instead we get more sitcoms. Oh joy.
when mandy pattinken/ Gideon left that show became dead to me, just like when Gil Grissom left CSI it was worthless.

Actually, I think the writing for CSI got better after Grissom left. And Joe Mantegna is brilliant in his own right.

I felt the same way and thought that I was going to stop watching it but I gave it a try with Mantegna and was very pleasantly surprised. I think Mantegna has done a wonderful job ! I never miss watching each week and I can honestly say Mandy who ? You need to give it another try this fall....I bet you'll feel the same way.
I have lost my taste for pork....
