Hopefully, this one will make up for the atrocity that was T3.
No, the franchise is burned out. It needs time to regenerate like Star Trek.
We'll see this weekend.
Hopefully it will not disappoint.

You are kidding right? Burned out? When was T3?

HLT, I am looking forward to it - and am perplexed as to the apparent cancelation of the series. Oh well.......

I really don't understand why cancelling the show before the movie comes out this weekend. Oh well, I guess I will never understand network executive decisions, especially by Fox. I hope Teminator Salvation is a good movie, I want a good action movie, and average acting and I will be good with it. I really do not expect anything really more from the movie Terminator Salvation.
I'm stoked. I loved the TV series too. If it's been cancelled, that is a travesty.

So far this May has been great for seeing a movie. First time in a long time I've been to the movies every opening weekend for a so-called blockbuster film. Looking forward to more this Summer!
Yes. Also found out that there will another one after this one. Terminator 5 I believe.

T3 was released in 2003 and, as you mentioned, the Sarah Connor Chronicles has been very recently axed. In contrast, the TV show Enterprise was canned in 2005 and the last Star Trek movie until May 2009 took place in 2002 (both shows bombed). IMO, folks are tired of the Terminator brand and more time is needed, like Star Trek, to generate interest.
my wife is geeked, so i bought tickets for friday night yesterday. i remain a bit skeptical but am willing to give it a shot. i didnt think star trek would be worth a damn and i was wrong.
Since the first terminator and seeing the scenes they showed of the future this is the Terminator movie I have wanted to see. Nothing beats a nuclear apocalypse followed by large numbers of pissed off robots hell bent on destroying the human race. Its gonna kick ass.
just got back.

horrible. just horrible. totally cribbed from other movies and the final 10 minutes will just leave you slack jawed.

It is irritating to spend hard earned money on terrible "entertainment" . Sorry you wasted your time but thanks for saving it for the rest of us.
i took one for the team all right. jeeze i'm still aggrevated. i think i will spend the summer in the library instead of the cinema. the last 4 movies i've seen are watchmen, wolverine, star trek and terminator 4. star trek is the only one i'll ever watch again.
Nearly every critic has said the same about this movie, "Lots of stuff blowing up, and in really cool ways, but not a great movie."

That does seem like a hard premise to screw up, but if Jeb is right they managed to do it.
