Per the Commercial Appeal artticle tommorrow, Illegal immigrants interviewed said they knew of of a business called "El Zacatecano Bilingual Service" which got them license plates and renewals for cash. It also said in the article, the owner is under investigation for bribing officals at the Millington Branch of the Shelby County Clerk's Office. That's the office that was shut down because of the amount of people fired or resigned because of the actions done their. I wonder if Mrs. Holt is involved with all of this regarding the bribes. This will definitely further widen the investigation regarding this.

Ch 3 tracked down one woman in Berclair that is involved in this. She was charging mexicans $1300 to get them tags. Damn, $100 for the tags and a couple hundred for the bribe and she pocketed $900? I may need to rethink my future employment.
That could be a dangerous business.
Remember about four or five years ago a woman was selling plates to Pakistanis. She got caught.
Next mention of her was from witnesses that saw her car rolling slowly down the road on fire with her at the wheel, deader than hell.

I missed that last part. How did that end up?
First, I have to correct myself. It was drivers' licenses.
The CA wants $2.95 for the story. I I can't remember how the thing turned out.

Mourners filled the Family Funeral Care chapel Saturday to talk about the good deeds and Christian life of Katherine Smith, balancing the publicity surrounding her fiery death last week and the charge that she sold fraudulent driver's licenses.

About 175 people created a standing-room-only arrangement in the chapel, at times swaying and singing along with hymns and testimonials.

"We're not here to remember how she died," said Rev. L. F.

Does the Shelby County Clerk's Office want the FBI and Homeland Security following them for a investigation for the next year or two? With all the reports of bribery in the County Clerk's Office, those two federal agencies I predict will be their so much it will appear that they are living their. So the Millington County Clerk Office is closed indefinitely because of the investigation. I wonder how long this place will be closed with the investigation. I am so glad maybe this culture of corruption will hopefully slow down with all these bad things happening. How long has this been happening, and the Shelby County Clerk's Office was not caught? Maybe it is team for the Commercial Appeal to do a little more investigative reporting on the bribery scandal in SCCO as soon as possible. The leader must go down and be fired soon if she could be even reasonably expected to know something is wrong at her office.
