I'm looking at my site to a new host to take advantage of some web-related programming that I am learning. I've uploaded the 2009 portion of my site to the new host and would like you opinions in terms of how it loads and a couple of the minor changes I've made so far (some added javascript, some ASP.Net and a couple AJAX calls, if you don't do web development don't worry about it.).

So, please head over to http://mattsarzsports.com.previewdns.com...l2009.aspx and take a look, try out the links and let me know what you think. I'm hoping to take advantage of some additional web programming to allow for customization on the site. Here's what I'm looking at

* Allowing you to choose the time zone you want each page to load
* Using databases to store the game content to limit some of the site maintenance.
* Eventually get a better look/feel to the site. I'm using a small amount of master pages and style sheets to obtain a better consistent look to the site now.

Thanks.

Matt, your site looks great. The pages load very nicely and relatively quick. I dont know if this is important to you or not, but when I went to your site, according to the link that you provided, I got the following message in a small black and white box:

"This is a preview of your new Web site. Once you've completed setting up this site's content, you need to modify the DNS settings of your domain for it to be live to the public.
Click here to learn more about setting your domain's nameservers."
I got the same little preview thing...site looks good, loads good
Matt -- check your PM box. Great work.
Thanks guys.

For those who use the text only customizable page, I created a test version of that which allows you to choose time zone in addition to printing selected games. I'm thinking about ways to get this on the page displaying the network image and what I'll do for the coverage notes section. That might always be a popup link to page displaying more information (ie. ABC maps, FSN lists, etc.).
