The wife and I both have had horrible reception on both our phones since yesterday. My home, which usually has at least three bars, is at one or no service. Any one else? What's up with this service?
You didn't just use AT&T and service in the same sentence did you? lol
Seriously, I haven't noticed any issues here.
I had it years ago and it stunk then. Exactly why I don't have it now.

Yeah, I have to say that I normally have good service with AT&T but I lost several calls today. I would have called for tech assistance but I can never understand them..... I just assumed they had some tower damage from all of the thunderstorms.
I have AT&T as well and have noticed really poor reception all week. My cell is my work phone and I have been really frustrated this week. I've been using my land line mostly.
A T T is good for me. (I promise that wasn't a pitch.)
Every problem I've had with dropped calls or what-not has been since I got the new iPhone. Service has always been good.
Now customer service on the other hand.....

I love the I phone but the 3g speed and customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
I hate ATT. Reception is spotty all over the country compared to Verizon; and it doesn't work in my house in Germantown. But I love my IPhone so I'm stuck.

Again, full bars, just got off the phone with the 'rents. Personally I don't get the hate. Then again it works fine for me.
Mine's been terrible for close to a week now, i'd never had problems before, but i've been cussing my iPhone for days now. I know it did nothing wrong, I should blame AT&T
No problems with my service.
No issues here with my service or iPhone 3G. Works better than when I had the 8525. My wife had some service issues with her first gen Blackjack. She has Motorola Q now and like me, has no issues. I think the phone has a say in how good your service is. Some phones are better than others.
I've had AT&T for years and have never had a problem except when my phone was getting a little old. I got a new phone and haven't had a problem since.
It is probably just spotty service due to storms...
I've been good in NYC...
At&t, Nextel, and Cellular South get a lot less reliable than Verizon when you get to northwest Tennessee.
