Your sources are wrong. Wings and Things on Hollywood is the place to close the deal. If you order the 'Things', it's a done deal. Recruits can't turn it down.

Is Ching's the restaurant that's on Getwell near the university?
If so, I've had their wings before and they are good.

Ching's has phenomonal wings, and they are huge Tiger fans. The owner felt bad for me and my friends for having to work at the liquor store one new years, and brought us a giant pan of wings. He would do the same thing anytime we would have to work during a football or basketball game too. Great guy...

I'm sure Pastner is well aware of Chings. The current players, and I'm sure many of the recruits Pastner brought in this past year all dine at Chings.

"The Josh" knows all, but "wings'" are his favorite; remember "the Okafor", "the Dickersons" and ..."the Simons". I'm dying to see what his favorite flavor in "the Memphis" will be.

Been meaning to ask, are there any authentic MEXICAN restaurants in Memphis? Nothing talking about your run of the mill Taco Hell stuff but like...

As far as I'm concerned Ching's is the only wing place worth going to period! On one occasion i was placing my order and i looked over the counter and Antonio Burks was sitting in a chair by the wall. Now where else can you get delicious hot wings and get to catch a glimpse of
Antonio hiding behind the counter.
Not Buffalo Wild Wings. The only thing you'll find there is overpriced wings and bad service. On one of the few occasions that i've dined there, i had noticed that there weren't any napkins on the table, so i asked the waitress for a napkin and she told me that they didn't have anymore napkins. Who runs out of napkins? I had to go get paper towels out of the bathroom. And one time I went to Memphis Style Hot wings and they told me that they had run out of chicken.
So having said all of that, get your A** to Ching's!

My wife and I are regulars at Mr. P's in Collierville. They're as good as any that I've tried...but haven't been to Ching's or Mr. T's.

I think there is a minimum of one per block along Summer Ave, and double that down Jackson Ave.
Taqueria La Guadalupana is my personal favorite.
