Those are two of the gayest guys I have ever heard on radio! I dislike Finebaum with a passion, but at least he admits when he is wrong and occasionally discusses issues outside of the state. These two guys WORSHIP UA. I bet they have never been on UA's campus. I rarely listen to the show;however for the last 2 days I have listened for at least an hour. I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. They only talk about UA. Rarely mention AU and UAB, never mention Miles, B'ham So., Samford, or any other BIRMINGHAM college. I thought the show was broadcast from B'ham, correct me if I'm wrong.
They are all about bama. They have connections with it. Jim and probably Ryan, I believe, graduated from there. Dunnaway does the Mike Shula show and Ryan does on field analysis for the delayed tv broadcast and also does the alabama after game radio show.
I really liked to listen to their show, but now that Bama is on a roll they are starting to show more and more of their bias.
I like Jim, even though people said before that ryan is more fair than Jim, I have come to believe that is untrue. Jim actually gives us some credit and picked us to win CUSA but Ryan could care less and seems to cut short any talk of UAB.
At least F*baum jumped on our bandwagon this year. He includes us in his barbers onion dip commercials now along with the other two schools. And he likes Dhack.
Last year he was a complete a#$ toward us, but this year he's giving us a more fair shot.
On another note, I had toyed with the idea of sending them 2 uab tickets for guess that meat since Bama and Aubie are bye, but Ryan probably would have thrown them away.

They are idiots. On a side note I left a message for Jay Barker (on Monday) that I would buy his whole family tickets for the game and he has yet to return my call.

I believe Ryan is a JSU grad. I know Herb when to JSU and played football. Having them as grads doesn't do us a whole lot of good either. I try not to listen to JOX very much as it All Bama All The Time. They do talk about Auburn some, but the bama thing get old after awhile. I would rather hear about JSU, of course, UAB, Troy, Samford, UNA, or any other school than the repeated Tuscaloosa and Auburn stories.

I can assure you that Dunaway, at least, has been to UAT's campus - many times. Not sure about Brown.
Dunaway does a Monday morning sports spot on Rick and Bubba's show. They were talking about how much of a UAT fan he was this past Monday after the UF game.
Why complain UAT people call in and want to talk about there team. Just pick up the phone and call the show and talk about UAB. Go Blazers!
Someone made that same comment today, but he said right after that "why can't they stay on hold for 30-45 min?" We, UAB, Samford, Miles, B'ham So.,Troy, J'Ville people, are professional individuals. We work and have no time to sit back and talk about the good 'ol days. Unlike the average UA fan, who sits around all day and collects their welfare check, we are trying to be productive citizens.
I understand just seem like a simple solution we can't win them all. We're out numbered, convert'em one at a time. Go Blazers
Another thing that really bothers me is that whenever a caller calls in and says something negative or disagrees about something Bama related, Dunnaway gets very defensive and always replies with a smart-a$$ response.
I thought it was a sports show, not a compliment and worship Bama show.
Their show is easily the most biased show IMHO.
Dunaway is happy that UAT is playing well because they sign one of his paychecks. As long as things are going good no one gets fired (at least that has been their track record). Alabama assumes that becuase they are 5-0 they will win the national title. Crazy to think the trouble they had with MTSU and if not for Protho's catch vs. USM they probably lose that one and there is not talk of a national title. Alabama still sucks regardless of the 265 national titles.

I was listening to JOX the other day (Herb and Ray) and they were talking about UAB. They were talking about UAB-USM game and our chances of winning CUSA. They were wondering where that game would be played and then both decided the game was in Hattiesburg b/c we played last year in Bham. What? Look at a freaking schedule. Better yet plaster one somewhere on the wall in the studio. If this were an SEC team they would have turned to their computer and looked it up. Oh by the way, JOX that game is also on ESPN.
i just turned it off after a pro-uab caller called in. herb, ray, & kelly all think the usm game is in hattiesburg. way to be on top of your game guys!!
