I know this may not have anything to do with football, but does anyone know what the tents and such are for that were being put up in the Mini Park today?

Not those type tents ...lol ...Large tents without walls ...pavilion-like.
It's Student Life Days in the Mini-Park.
All the student organizations on campus host booths and you can go through and grab all kinds of give-a-ways and quite possibly free food.
A year or two ago one student organization was giving away free UAB bottle openers... very handy.
