In game 1, Paul Delaney III led his team (Sales Systems Ltd) with 18 points for a win against Ronald Steele's team. He also had 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Here's the box score: http://www.portsmouthinvitational.com/bo...ame_1.html
Vadens team is playing now. His team seems pretty loaded.
Three fastbreak dunks, a fastbreak layup, and several made free throws down the stretch by PD3 sealed the deal in the win.
His 18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals came in only 29 minutes.

PD3 is raising his stock!
wtg,pdiii!
Is the game on anywhere?
Looks like if Vaden's team wins he will be playing against PDIII. Want to bet Paul gets a few steals against him?
I am willing to bet the PDIII dunks all over Vaden.
is this on tv?

As far as I can tell it isn't on anywhere to watch. I think you would just have to be there to see it.
PDIII definitely has NBA athleticism. He needs to show off his jump shot, which actually isn't that bad. He just rarely had to use it because hardly anyone could stop him from getting to the rim.

Any word on how Kinnard and Vaden are doing? I can't access the box score from my blackberry.
Vaden scored 7 in his teams victory.

Looks like Vaden and Delaney will be facing off on Saturday.
Kinnard's team plays tomorrow night at 9, so the results from that game will be out around 11 tomorrow night I assume. Kinnard will only end up playing Vaden or Delaney's team if both of their teams make it to the championship game of the tournament on Sunday.

Also, Kinnard will be facing off against Memphis' Antonio Anderson tomorrow, and the lesser known Griffin from Oklahoma, Taylor.
Those games are probably free-for-all's, which would be a dream for a shooter like Vaden.
Vaden didn't have his best game from just looking at the box score... he did have a steal/fast break dunk, but he was 3-8 fg and 1-3 3pt in only 19min.
Man, I'm going to miss that kid !!!!!

Say what you will about Squeaky, the Taylors, Mitchell, Mincy, Robinson, whoever......

This kid is my favorite all-time Blazer.
Looks like PDIII and Stephon Jackson got a lot of respect from their coaches by not getting to start.

C-USA all time points scorer and he is sitting behind Ronald Steele and Jimmy Baron from URI?
How does this work with their class schedule?

+1
Right above Squeaky and Carlos Williams.

At least PDIII proved he deserved the start by leading the team in points, Jackson didn't exactly have a great night.
pdIII reminds me a bit of a slightly undersized (and by no means is this degrading) poor mans dwayne wade..... I think being compared in anyway to d.wade is enough to get a serious look...

I've always thought that. Not really a pure PG or SG...kind of a tweener. He also seems to be his best in the final minutes of a game, and has that uncanny ability to put an entire team on his back and carry them to victory.
